Accommodation terms & conditions
Double or twin rooms are available for single occupancy at a supplement of £35 per night.
A one night stay is subject to availability and carries a £10 per person supplement.
Children are very welcome.
Children under the age of 8 sharing their parent’s room are only charged for meals taken.
Children aged 8 – 16 sharing their parent’s room £20 per night including breakfast.
Children in their own room are charged the full adult rate.

It is the policy of Thorpeness & Aldeburgh Hotels Ltd to share all discretionary tips to our employees without any charges being made to process payments. The process of distibution is through our wage system and is controlled by respresentatives of the employees.
Confirmations
A non refundable deposit of £30 per person is required to confirm accommodation and reserve any tee times. For parties of 8 or more Full Payment is required 28 days prior to arrival. Bookings made less than 28 days prior to arrival must be paid for in full when making the reservation for accommodation or golf. No refunds can be made for inclusive meals not taken unless 24 hours notice is given. Cancellations on the day are charged for in full. No refunds can be made on inclusive golf breaks due to inclement weather conditions. The management will offer alternative tee times where possible during your stay if they close the course. Thorpeness Hotel reserves the right to change the tariff at any time with the exception of bookings confirmed with a deposit.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations made up to 28 days before arrival will be charged for in full less breakfast and dinner charges. Reservations made less than 28 days prior to arrival must pay in full on booking. Any cancellations made between 28 and 14 days prior to arrival are charged in full less meals. Reservations made less than 14 days prior to arrival must pay in full on booking. Any cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival are charged in full including meal allowance. In the event of cancelled accommodation being resold Thorpeness will refund all charges applicable to the person/organiser who made the reservation.
Handicap certificates
A Handicap Certificate is required to play the course. The Professional should be advised on any member of a party that does not have a handicap. This may effect tee times.
Guests are strongly advised to take out Holiday Insurance to cover any cancellations. Our full terms and conditions are available before making a reservation. Large parties in particular may wish to ensure that they are covered.
